Great Kei Disability Multipurpose Centre provides an integrated range of services for children, young people and adults with disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers.
Our programmes respond to practical, emotional, social and economic needs. We aim to improve access to opportunities, reduce isolation and help beneficiaries participate more fully in their communities.
We provide practical training in computer literacy, sewing, crafts, gardening and entrepreneurship to improve employability and encourage greater self-reliance.
We provide home visits, daily living assistance, emotional support and caregiver guidance for beneficiaries who cannot regularly attend activities at the Centre.
We conduct community outreach and awareness activities that promote disability rights, challenge stigma and encourage inclusion across every area of community life.
We facilitate support groups and counselling sessions that reduce isolation, build resilience and strengthen beneficiaries, families and their dedicated caregivers.
We connect beneficiaries with healthcare, government departments, social grants, education, assistive devices and other services needed for their wellbeing.
Where resources allow, we provide meals, essential items and basic assistance to vulnerable beneficiaries participating in activities and programmes at the Centre.
Your contribution can help provide training materials, home-based assistance, nutritional support and other essential resources for persons with disabilities.
Great Kei Disability Multipurpose Centre promotes dignity, inclusion and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities through care, skills development, advocacy and community support.
